Belgrade 2022 CEO Summit

InStore Media and NIN magazine have organized a conference gathering the business elite and representatives of international institutions in a single place.

Belgrade CEO Summit is held on December 1, 2022, at Hyatt Regency Belgrade hotel. Vladica Cvetković, the academic who addressed the subject of education in Serbia, opened the event.

Following Cvetković’s speech, 300+ participants had the opportunity to hear Đurđa Radivojević, general manager at Smurfit Kappa Avala Ada, who spoke about sustainable business as well as the trends in product packaging. H. E. Anke Konrad, the German ambassador in Serbia, the first “Partner-country” of the fourth CEO Summit, spoke of the possibilities of advancing the economic cooperation between the two countries. The European Commission published the Manifesto for a Resource-Efficient Europe in 2017.

Timothy Glaz, Head of Corporate Affairs at Werner & Mertz spoke about circular economy and how to implement it. The first session was closed by Ronald Seeliger, CEO at Hemofarm Group, who spoke with Sanda Savić, Senior Director of Corporate Affairs and Communications CEE/SEE about the imperatives of the new age which include sustainable development.

After a coffee break, Darko Popović, the president of IO, Banca Intesa, opened the second session in which he discussed the banking market and the challenges surrounding it in the upcoming period with Petrica Đaković, NIN. At the panel about what balancing of leaders between stable and sustainable businesses in the future spoke Svetoslav Atanasov, General Manager, Coca-Cola HBC Serbia and Montenegro; Jan-Willem Dockheer, General Manager, Delhaize Serbia, Ivan Stojanović, B2B Marketing and Sales Director, Yettel Serbia; while the moderator was Anica Telesković, RTS.

After the panelists, Zvonko Kolobara, general manager of BAT Adria, gave a presentation and spoke about building a better tomorrow while Vuk Delibašić, adviser to the Minister of Finance, explained e-invoices and how they affect business operations in the economy. In the last panel in the second session, of their opinions about digitization and sectors relevant to it spoke Katarina Urošević, Chief Of Staff and Director of Corporate Communications, HTEC Group and Milen Janjić, CEO, Interllya and Nebojša Bjelotomić, general director of the “Digital Serbia” Initiative.

After the lunch break, Marija Stojanović, Head of Digital Platforms, Yettel, held a presentation on digitalization and the road from mobile telephony to digital platforms. Ljubiša Veljković, President of IO, Milenijum Osiguranje, spoke about the importance of insurance, especially in times of crisis, in a conversation with Anica Telesković. Ivana Ignjatov, Head of Fundraising and Communications, SOS Dečija Sela Srbije, introduced the work of the organization to participants and invited them to donate funds and thus show humaneness. The third block was closed by the CEO panel moderated by Petrica Đaković, in which Marko Carević, CEO, Ananas E-commerce Delta Holding and Dušan Milićević, CEO, Comtrade System Integration shared their experiences.

After a second coffee break, Milan Ćilibrk, Editor of NIN, spoke with Miodrag Miškp Ražnatović, CEO, Beobasket. Ražnatović spoke about his own view of the future of regional basketball as well as of sports management. Mihailo Vesović, Director of the Sector for Strategic Analysis, Services and Internationalization, Chamber of Commerce of Serbia, spoke about the economy and its importance while the official part of the lecture was closed by Iztok Seljak, CEO, Hidria. In a conversation with Ćulibrk. They discussed green automotive and industrial technologies, but also about how a Slovenian company conquered the world.

Following the presentations and the panels, participants had the opportunity to enjoy a cocktail, which they used to exchange experiences, network and socialize. This event concluded the fourth Belgrade CEO Summit.
